LOVE SIGN® began with a belief.
For founder Alexis Ander Kashar, that belief began long before her career.
Raised in a multi-generational Deaf family, Alexis understood from an early age that language is far more than a way to communicate. It is identity and belonging. It shapes culture and influences how people experience the world and one another.
Those early experiences inspired a career dedicated to expanding access, challenging assumptions, and creating deeper human connection.
For more than two decades, Alexis practiced civil rights and special education law, advocating for equal opportunity and helping organizations navigate complex questions of accessibility. Today, she serves as a Presidential appointee to the United States Access Board, contributing to the development of accessibility standards that impact millions of Americans.
For years, Alexis advanced accessibility through advocacy, helping individuals and organizations navigate complex questions of civil rights and inclusion. And she came to believe that culture could move people in ways legal work and policy alone could not.
That realization led her beyond the courtroom and into sports, entertainment, media, and technology, where she began collaborating with organizations to explore how language itself could become part of the creative experience.
Her work in this space has helped redefine how sign language is experienced on the world’s biggest stages and platforms. What began as improving access evolved into something much larger: treating language as performance, storytelling, artistry, and culture. From groundbreaking Super Bowl productions to collaborations with artists, leagues, and brands, each project reinforced the idea that language has the power to bring people together in unexpected ways.
That vision became LOVE SIGN®.
Today, LOVE SIGN® is a creative production company developing original content, live experiences, broadcast productions, creative strategy and merchandise to bring people together. We partner with organizations across sports, entertainment, media, and accessibility to create work that is authentic, innovative and built to connect communities.
